Gyoza are dumplings filled with ground meat (pork) and vegetables (cabbage) also known as pot stickers which originated in China where they are called jiaozi.  Enjoy Chinese comfort food guilt-free with our premium and authentic Chinese Dim Sum Menu for only P11.60 per piece. Must-try! Pairs well with our Una Ricci Craft Beers.

How to Cook Gyoza

Steam Gyoza in bamboo steamer baskets lined with parchment paper. If this is unavailable, you may use a metal steaming rack in the middle of your wok filled with several cups of water. Then, place the dumplings in a stainless steel round plate or any plate that can withstand hot steam, position the plate over the steaming rack.

You can pan-fry Gyoza and serve with our very own Pure Chili Sauce or Chili Garlic Sauce or just plain soy sauce.

This makes a great snack for the whole family especially for kids who love dumplings.

How to Store and Freeze Gyoza

Leftover cooked Gyoza can be stored in the fridge using an airtight container for a maximum 3 days. Make sure the dumplings aren't packed tightly, as the skins could stick together and break.

Storing Gyoza overnight prior to cooking: keep them covered in the refrigerator to cook the next day.

Reheating, the best method is to use steam again, but because they're already cooked inside they don't need as much time. Check for temperature after 5 minutes, but don't overheat for filling not to dry out.

For unopened packs, store in freezer and use within three months.  For opened packaging, transfer to freezer bags or containers and may use within three months. There's no need to thaw frozen Gyoza; simply put in your dumpling steamer and it's good to go.
